Running Hurts

How often do you walk or run?

I haven’t run in years, and I don’t want to. It’s hard on the boobies and I really don’t have the stamina for it.

These days, I’ll only run if I’m being chased by a madman!

I walk my dog several times a week. 30 mins, 40 mins, it depends. Longer if it’s on the beach.

I also read in my copy of “Eat For Your Type” (blood type) that people with the blood group B, are not suited to strenuous exercise. Nothing too aerobically intense… it says. I could jog slowly and gently, but I don’t want to.

Walking is good for me and all the other Bs.

But I had guessed that already!

Thank you for reading. Have a nice day!

  1. I have never liked running. In school I was always last and huffing and puffing by the end. I don’t know my blood type but maybe that is why. I walk my dogs 2 or 3 times every day, about 40 to 60 minutes each time. Like you, I get my exercise in.

  2. When I was younger, I would run for exercise. I’m finding (as a 51 year old) that walking fast, riding my mountain bike, or the elliptical is just as effective, without the impact to the knees (and boobs! I have that issue as well πŸ˜‚). And it is easier to breathe throughout those workouts than when I run. Fascinating tidbit about blood types! Now I want to figure out what mine is.

    • That’s all good cardiac exercise.
I was quite a good sprinter when I was young… won a couple of medals, but I wasn’t good at long distance.
I hiked a lot well into my 40s, but now my knees are dodgy because of it. πŸ˜…
