Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?

I think I was a cat in a previous life. I’m sometimes curious and inventive. Sometimes I’m an introvert – I want peace and quiet. Other times I’m an extrovert – I like being around people and noise.

I can be confident, but at times I’m more reserved.

I love having the house to myself, but after a while I wonder where everyone has got to and I want them home.

You can touch me and hug me, but only if you know me well… and please don’t overdo it.

I used to get along with everyone – like a kitten – but now that I’m older, I’m choosy about who to spend my precious time with. I see through people better and have a low tolerance of their bull. I won’t allow myself to be pressured into doing what I don’t want to do.

Just like a moggy, I do my own thing but I’m there for my loves when they need me.

Am I ever cranky? Hell, yeah! Aren’t we all?

When I learned how to say ‘no’ to people, I realised that trying to please everyone was not the road to happiness.

Judge a Book by its Cover 20 – #TuesdayBookBlog

This is one of the most colourful and vibrant book covers I’ve ever seen. Hard to pass it! I love it. The fact that I can’t tell the genre just by the cover doesn’t matter because I’m intrigued enough to take a closer look. Judging by the title, I’m sure there’s some kind of magic at play. What kind of magic?
