At first glance this book cover had my attention. I love it! Red always stands out for me, but it’s more than the colour I’m attracted to. It’s the style of that building. It’s a busy building with a lot going on in there.

What is your first thought when you look at this book cover?

Murder at the Matinee by Jamie West stood out for me because of the vibrant colour and the way the title jumps off the page. I love a murder mystery, especially at this time of year. The fire lit, cosy throw, hot drink… Bliss!
