Blog Tour – Day Three. Story Chat – Short Stories and Ruminations

This is day three of my blog tour; helping to promote the recently published book, Story Chat Online Literary Conversations: Series of Short Stories and Ruminations.

Read more about the story behind Story Chat Online Literary Conversations here; Day One and Day Two

A quick recap;

Marsha Ingrao has taken the stories from her annual online writing programme, Story Chat, and put them together, along with some of the comments made by the Story Chat participants, to create this fabulous and unique book!

The fun part is often the chatting that happens in the comments. Some readers simply express how much they loved the story. Others delve more deeply. They analyse every detail, pose questions to the author, or offer well-received feedback to the author.

Gary Wilson is one of the authors featured in Story Chat Online Literary Conversations and he doesn’t miss as much as a misplaced comma while he reads and he’s in no way shy when it comes to discussing his thoughts. Gary brings great value to Story Chat and I think he would make an excellent judge in a writing competition! So you can imagine how meticulous Gary is about his own stories.

Gary’s fictional story in the book – Story Chat Online Literary Conversations – is based on true events. It’s titled ‘Sometimes a Miracle’. A fabulous little read. Check out Gary’s blog for an insight into his story-telling skills! I’m due a visit there myself!

Marsha Ingrao, the editor, also has a gem of a story published in the book. Her story is titled ‘Jenny’s Bumpy Start’. Jenny is dealing with a bully in her new school. Her thoughts about Jeremy – the bully – are not what you might expect!

Marsha is a busy lady. She keeps her blog in tiptop shape and stays so motivated as she keeps Story Chat going; not to mention moderating all the comments. Marsha always has time to chat. Even though I’ve never met her in real life, I know Marsha is a ray of sunshine!

Go check her out HERE! There’s nothing she enjoys more than welcoming new chatters to her blog, especially to the Story Chat posts!

Story Chat Online Literary Conversations is available for purchase on the following; Kindle edition and paperback amazon.com and amazon.co.uk and Barnes & Noble

  3. How did I miss this, Gloria? You are so dedicated. I will be talking about you and Secrets in the Babby House in my post tomorrow. I love the interview you have at the end of your post. Your voice is glorious as is your narrator’s. It’s like being in Ireland. 🙂 I think your book is fabulous and show the great amount of research you did in writing and researching how to publish as well. xxxxx
