Today I bring to you some bars and restaurant/café doors from Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Very inviting, I must say.

Shaka Burger is one of our favourites, especially for the younger people in our family.

And outside Shaka Burger, there’s this guy selling coffee from this tiny cabin.

This next one is our most favourite. It’s an Italian and the nicest Italian I’ve ever been to. A plus with this restaurant is that they now have a little play area for children, and this year we had my grand daughter, Sophie, with us.

Thursday Doors is a weekly challenge for people who love doors and architecture to come together to admire and share their favourite door photos, drawings, or other images or stories from around the world. If you’d like to join in and create your own Thursday Doors post each (or any) week, visit nofacilities.com for more information.

Thank you for calling in today! Before you go…
Would you like a peek inside the pages of my fictional novel? It might just be your cup of tea!
Set in a gossipy small town in Ireland at a time when marriage is for keeps and sexuality is repressed, Secrets in the Babby House is a family saga over three decades that starts in 1956. It is a story of love, deception, and stolen diaries filled with sins and secrets.

Some wonderful and atmospheric dors. The one with the trompe l’oeil painting on it is my favourite.

It’s barely 7:00 a.m. and I’ve seen pub and restaurant doors in a couple posts, and I’m getting hungry 😉
These are great doors. I love the photo showing the curved wall of that restaurant. These surely are the best kind of doors.
And, I always enjoy seeing the door on your book cover. I remember the post you had about that photo.

Some fabulous doors here! A play area for children is such a great idea in a restaurant.

All very appealing. I like the way the windows curve around on the Kronner. (K)
